How to reach us...

By train+bus

The closest bus stop is "Schumacherweg", but also "Glaubtenstrasse" is very close (see map). If you come to Zurich HB (Main Station) you have several options which we briefly describe below. We suggest the first one, since it is the easiest one and usually also slightly faster. Click on the bus map to enlarge.
For a timetable use the ZVV online timetable or simply go with your cursor over the bus stop on the map of MapSearch and select your starting point.

  • Exit the main station from the main entrance, take the tram 11 (direction: Auzelg) to Bucheggplatz (approx. 10 min). There take the bus 32 (direction: Holzerhund) to Glaubtentrasse (5 min) and then walk 2 minutes up the Glaubtenstrasse
  • Take a suburban train (S-Bahn, there are many S2, S5, S6, S7, S14, S16) to Zurich Oerlikon (second stop). Then exits the station on the north side and take Bus 80 to Schumacherweg. (Alternatively exits on the south side and take a 62 to Glaubtentrasse)
  • Exit the main station from its main entrance, take the Tram 13 (direction: Frankental) to Meierhofplatz (approx. 15 min). There (just around the corner) take the Bus 80 to Schumacherweg (5 min)

By car

If you come by car (and don't have a navi to play with) you can either follow the short indications below, or use for instance ViaMichelin. Click on the map to enlarge.

  • Coming from south (marked as S on the map), follow the A3 until its end. Stay on the main road following the green indications to the Airport (Flughafen) & Sankt Gallen. You will cross the river on the Hardbrucke and jump up the hill. After approx. 1 km you have to leave the main road staying on the right lane to arrive in Bucheggplatz. Leave Bucheggplatz following the directions to Affoltern/Regensdorf, drive through Wehntalerstrasse until you see a crossroad with a large red church. Turn left to Glaubtentrasse for few hundreds meters. Our house is on the left just after a food shop.
  • If you come from west (marked as W on the map) is much easier: exit the A1 at Zurich-Affoltern, at the first light follow the directions for Zurich City (right): you will drive through Wehntalerstrasse for approx. 2-3 kilometers. When you see a large red church on your left at a crossroad turn right up the Glaubtentrasse for a few hundreds meters. Our house is on the left, just after a small food shop.
  • If you come from east (marked as E on the map) exit the highway at Zurich Unterstrass (the last exit before the Milchbuck Tunnel). Follow the directions to Zurich Affoltern and drive through Wehntalerstrasse until you come to a crossroad with a large red church in front of you (on the right side of the road). Turn left up the Glaubtentrasse for a few hundreds meters: our house is on the left, just after a small food shop.
